Emmanuel Howard

Benefit Specialist
Emmanuel Howard

Emmanuel pursued a career in insurance because he saw sales as more than just a profession—it was an opportunity for both personal and professional growth while making a meaningful impact in people’s lives. He has always believed in representing solutions he genuinely stands behind, and he is deeply committed to helping members and their families achieve long-term financial security and peace of mind.

Since joining FSP in June 2015, Emmanuel has built more than a decade of experience in the insurance industry, specializing in life and health insurance. Licensed in both Life and Health, he approaches every client interaction with professionalism, care, and a strong focus on education. He believes protecting a family’s finances is one of the most important responsibilities a person can take on, and he works diligently to help clients prepare for life’s unexpected challenges before they happen.

A Personal Connection
Originally from Sharon, Massachusetts, where he still resides today, Emmanuel values hard work, discipline, and family. His parents both retired from the MBTA, and his two older brothers continue to inspire him to stay active and strive to be his best every day.

Outside of work, Emmanuel has a passion for boxing and pop locking, bringing both energy and creativity into his personal life. He is also active in his community, supporting organizations such as Souls Harbor Church and assisting with the wrestling program at Sharon High School. One of his most impressive accomplishments is being a Gulf Coast National Champion in USA Amateur Boxing—a reflection of the dedication and perseverance he brings into every aspect of his life.

Why Work with Emmanuel?
What sets Emmanuel apart is the passion and precision he brings to helping clients protect their futures. He views member support as both a craft and an art form—one centered on clearly communicating value and empowering families to make confident decisions about their financial protection. Rather than offering generic solutions, he prioritizes a comprehensive needs assessment to ensure every recommendation aligns with a client’s specific goals and family situation.

For Emmanuel, the most rewarding part of his work is knowing he is helping families address their most important financial concerns. He understands that without proper protection, unexpected events can place a heavy burden on loved ones, and he is committed to helping prevent that hardship.

One experience that stands out involved a sole provider supporting a spouse and two children. Initially, the client declined disability coverage because of budget concerns. Recognizing the risks of a single-income household, Emmanuel took the time to explain the importance of protecting the family’s income. After a thoughtful discussion, the client decided to move forward with the coverage. Just two months later, the family experienced an unexpected claim, and the disability policy became their only consistent source of income during that difficult period. Moments like this reinforce Emmanuel’s dedication to helping families secure the protection they may one day depend on most.

We proactively reach out to our membership through outbound calling, email campaigns, and community outreach rather than waiting for members to come to us.
Industry data shows only 30% of loan origination comes from proactive channels. Where does your credit union stand? Insurance is 95% proactive: how proactive are you?

We have a systematic outbound engagement program that builds trust before the call, uses member data to personalize each conversation, and produces measurable results.

We measure the critical metrics of our engagement program - loan conversions, cross-sell results, retention rates - and use that data to make real decisions.
Can you show the results of your engagement program right now in a report, not an estimate? A program without data is a program running on belief.
