Protecting Families with Care and Compassion
Michelle’s passion for insurance is deeply personal. After experiencing the loss of two brothers who did not have life insurance, she saw firsthand the emotional and financial hardship that can fall on a family during an already devastating time. Her family had to rely on support from friends and relatives to cover funeral expenses, and that experience shaped her commitment to helping others avoid the same burden. From that moment forward, Michelle knew she wanted to help families prepare for life’s unexpected moments and protect the people they love most.

With more than 19 years of experience in the insurance industry and over 15 years at FSP, Michelle specializes in Life and Health products. Licensed in both Life and Health insurance, she is dedicated to helping clients find protection that fits their unique situations and provides true peace of mind. Her work is driven by compassion, understanding, and a sincere desire to make sure families are financially prepared when it matters most.

A Personal Connection
Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, Michelle now lives in Owings Mills, Maryland, where she enjoys spending time with her family and her cat, Raven. Outside of work, she loves karaoke, attending concerts, and creating memories with her grandchildren. While she jokes that she cannot sing, she proudly shares that rapping is her specialty when the karaoke microphone comes out.

Michelle also believes in giving back to her community and volunteers with Meals on Wheels, helping provide support and care to those in need. Her warm personality, sense of humor, and genuine compassion make it easy for clients to feel comfortable and cared for from the very first conversation.

Why Work with Michelle?
What sets Michelle apart is her commitment to building relationships based on trust, understanding, and accessibility. She believes insurance is about much more than selling policies—it’s about being there for clients through every step of the process. Whether helping someone choose the right coverage or guiding them through a claim, Michelle makes herself available and ensures her clients feel supported and informed.

Her approach starts with listening. By asking thoughtful questions and taking the time to truly understand each client’s lifestyle, concerns, and goals, she is able to recommend solutions that genuinely fit their needs. Michelle treats every client as an individual, not a number, and works hard to create an experience where people feel comfortable asking questions and confident in their decisions.

For Michelle, the most rewarding part of her job is knowing she is helping members and their families protect what matters most. Whether she is guiding someone toward the right coverage, providing reassurance during uncertain times, or helping clients navigate difficult situations, she takes pride in making a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Building long-term relationships and earning the trust of her clients is what makes her work especially fulfilling.

Michelle has seen firsthand how the right coverage can change lives. One member she met with had been diagnosed with cancer a year earlier but had forgotten he purchased a critical illness policy. After reviewing his coverage, Michelle helped him file a claim that resulted in a $30,000 payout—money that helped him catch up on bills after being unable to work during treatment.

In another case, Michelle spoke with a member several times about adding critical illness coverage because she was a chain smoker. The member repeatedly declined, but Michelle continued to educate her on the importance of protection. Eventually, the woman decided to add the coverage. Just six months later, she was diagnosed with lung cancer and received a $50,000 payout from her policy. A year later, she sadly passed away from the illness, but because she also had a $50,000 life insurance policy in place, her daughter was able to cover funeral expenses without financial hardship. Stories like these are why Michelle remains so passionate about helping families prepare for the unexpected and protect their future.
